Veneers Explained

Veneers Explained

Veneers are an ideal way to drastically improve the shape, size and colour of your teeth without the need of undergoing major surgery. Here at Seapoint Clinic we offer two types of veneer - porcelain and composite (otherwise known as instant veneers). So, just what is the main difference between the two?

Porcelain Veneers

Our porcelain veneers are handmade by cosmetic technicians in Da Vinci Studios in California. Made using a very fine layer of porcelain, these veneers are bonded in place over your own natural teeth, helping to both improve and protect the damaged surface below. Before treatment begins, we will arrange a 'smile simulation' in our in-clinic Digital Smile Design Studio

By doing so, we can actually show you how your teeth will look before treatment begins, allowing you to make any changes and discuss your new smile with your cosmetic dentist.

Instant veneers is a great treatment because it can be done in just one visit. There's no drilling of your natural teeth, no need for numbing and it gives really lovely results.

Composite Veneers

Composite or instant veneers offer incredible results in the shortest possible treatment time. Unlike their porcelain counterpart, composite veneers don't require any preparation of your natural teeth and can be completed in as little as one hour. By using HD video and photography, we are able to create a full analysis of your ideal smile. Following your initial consultation, your dedicated cosmetic dentist expertly layers the composite material around your teeth before shaping it to the desired shape and colour. It really is that simple!
