Our Orthodontist Explains Invisalign

Our Orthodontist Explains Invisalign

Dr. Jim Griffin explains...

Invisalign is among our most popular forms of cosmetic treatment here at Seapoint Clinic and with good reason. We often find that people have been put off having much needed orthodontic treatment because of the appearance of conventional metal braces. However, with Invisalign those days are well and truly ever. Instead, Invisalign uses a set of custom made clear aligners. These aligners are replaced every 2-4 weeks, depending on your specific requirements, and gently realign your teeth into the correct position. The benefit of Invisalign is that they are practically unnoticeable. It's why more and more adults are now opting for Invisalign because of their incredibly discreet nature.

Another major plus of Invisalign is that they are removable, meaning you won't have to avoid any tough or sticky foods whatsoever. It will also mean you can brush your teeth as normal. On average, treatment takes about a year to complete but in certain cases may go quicker where fewer movements are needed.

They really are invisible, I hardly enough notice I'm wearing them!

Invisalign

Invisalign is an ideal treatment for people who may have worn braces when they were younger, but have since gone on to have some form of orthodontic relapse where the teeth have drifted back out of position. Although Invisalign may not be suitable for everyone, there are of course alternatives such as Six Month Braces readily available at Seapoint Clinic.

If Invisalign is something you're interested in, contact a member of our reception team who will gladly arrange your initial consultation, where you will receive a detailed payment and treatment plan on the day.
