Dental Implants & Veneers Explained
There are a number of ways of improving your smile and overall dental health. Two of the most popular forms of treatment here at Seapoint Clinic are dental implants and veneers. Whereas dental implants are used to replace missing or failing teeth, veneers are placed over your natural tooth to help improve its look, colour, shape and size.
But how do you know which treatment suits your specific needs and why?
Today I can say I'm very happy with a beautiful smile and have been treated exceptionally well by all the staff at Seapoint Clinic!

Dental Implants
Dental implants are the ideal way to replace missing teeth as they look, act and even feel just like your own natural teeth. Whether you are missing a tooth, several teeth or an entire set, dental implants can help restore your confidence, smile and replace an old, ill-fitting denture. Not many people realise that your jaw can actually shrink over time without a tooth root in place, drastically ageing a person. However, with a dental implant we can actually encourage the growth of bone in your jaw. With proper care and regular visits to your dentist and hygienist, there's no reason why your dental implants won't last a lifetime.
Dental Veneers
Here at Seapoint Clinic, we offer two types of veneer - porcelain and instant veneers. Veneers are a great way to improve the aesthetics of your smile as well as cover and protect and chipping or cracked surfaces. Our porcelain veneers are handcrafted by skilled technicians in Da Vinci Studios, California. These veneers are made using incredibly fine layers of porcelain which is then bonded into place over your natural teeth.
Unlike porcelain veneers, instant (or composite veneers) don't require any preparation of your natural teeth. Following a consultation with one of our cosmetic dentists, these veneers can be placed in as little as 45 minutes meaning you live our clinic with a brand new smile!
