Treatment for Teens & Kids
The ideal age for your child to have an orthodontic consultation is between the ages of 7-9. By the time your child is this age, our orthodontist is able to detect any potential issues in the bone and jaw alinement. This means we can assess whether further orthodontic treatment may be necessary at a later age. It can also save you money in the long-run, when it comes to growth development issues with the jaw, early intervention is the best form of treatment.
I absolutely love my new smile!

Teen Braces
Benefits of Teen & Child Braces
- Straight teeth make for a confident smile
- Suitable from the age of 10
- Less likely to suffer tooth loss
- Less time spent visiting your dentist when you're older!
Obviously, we recommend that a general dentist monitors your child from an early age. If needed, they will then refer your child to our in-clinic orthodontist. In some cases, we find that children may develop issues where the jaw does not grow to an ideal position. Children with this growth development may require early orthodontic intervention from as early as the age of 8.
We have a range of treatments to get your child smiling again, if you'd like to book in for an initial consultation why not contact a member of our customer service team today.
