Teen Braces
A common time for people to opt for orthodontic treatment is during their teenage years. This is mainly due to the vast majority of us having our permanent teeth by age 11. By opting for teen braces, it's also far easier for your orthodontist to detect potential issues such as bad bites or gappy and crooked teeth when patients are still at this age.
It also helps that your body is still continuing to grow at a rapid pace, meaning your orthodontist can take full advantage of these growth spurts to help improve your overall bite. Treatment time is also greatly reduced when you're younger, meaning you won't feel as much discomfort throughout the course of your treatment. Unlike years gone by, we have a wide range of treatments available for your teenager - Invisalign, traditional and see-through braces.
They have a great orthodontist here. His manner with children is absolutely fantastic. It was an absolute no brainer.

Why Get Teen Braces?
Crooked teeth or teeth that don't correctly fit together are at a higher risk of tooth decay, increased pressure and periodontal disease. By opting for teen braces, your teeth are far more likely to last a lifetime (with proper care) and make for a much healthier mouth.
Potential issues with teeth can be inherited or caused by a number of factors including:
- Thumb sucking
- Over crowding
- Gappy teeth
- Extra/missing teeth
- Gum disease
- Accidental loss
