Suitable for Composite Bonding

Suitable for Composite Bonding

Cosmetic dentistry can help restore your chipped, cracked or misshapen smile. Composite bonding are quite different to veneers, although both can be used to fill chips, cracks or gaps between your teeth. So, how does it all work?

Following your initial consultation, your cosmetic dentist will select a resin that matches the colour of your own natural teeth. From there, we gently coat your tooth with a liquid that will ensure the resin sets effectively. Your dentist will apply the resin and form it to the desired shape, before hardening it with a UV light. They will reshape the resin until it matches your teeth, giving you a healthy, straight natural smile. In some cases, we can completely transform your smile in as little as 45 minutes!

On average, composite bonding can last a number of years as long as you continue to maintain good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups and cleanings.
