Straight Teeth in Just Six Months
Over the past number of years, the amount of people over the age of 30 getting orthodontic treatment has doubled. This is due to treatment becoming faster, more comfortable and more affordable than ever before. It's also the reason why Six Month Braces is among our most popular form of treatment here at Seapoint Clinic, making us the most experienced clinic in the country. Unlike regular orthodontic treatment Six Month Braces focuses only on your front teeth, allowing you to get a perfectly healthy and natural looking smile. As we don't alter your bite in anyway, it enables us to gently straighten your teeth in the shortest possible time. However, should you wish to change your bite or move your back teeth, conventional braces may be required.
Six Month Braces are available in both see-through and traditional metal finish braces. Although white braces do cost slightly more, they are tooth coloured making them incredibly discreet and often go completely unnoticed.
We often find that patients who come into us for Six Month Braces have been previously told that their only option was to wear conventional braces for 2 years or veneers. More often than not, this isn't the case and we can help fix any smile within a reasonable time frame.
I can't believe my teeth are so straight, I didn't really like my top teeth for years. I had huge issues with them and now they're like brand new teeth.

Can Adults Really Get Braces
By all means. In some cases, people did not get braces when they were younger and are now suffering from issues with their teeth, gums or may simply be unhappy with their smile. We also find that people who did get braces when they were younger may have stopped wearing their retainer, causing their teeth to shift out of position once again.
Unlike years ago, orthodontic treatment is no longer solely for teenagers. Although the beginning of treatment can take some time to get used to, once your braces are fitted this sensation goes away after a day or two and eventually you'll hardly even notice them. In fact, many of our own staff had Six Month Braces at one stage and are more than happy to help discuss how they found their own treatment.
