The National Dental Implant Centre

The National Dental Implant Centre

We thoroughly believe that each and every dentist here at Seapoint Clinic has right attitude and skills to help make you smile again. We only want those who are incredibly empathetic to our patients and who strive to find the best solution for them.

Some of the very best implant training takes place at the Misch Implant Institute in Detroit, overseen by the writer of the single best selling dental implant book in history - Harvard University professor Dr. Carl Misch. Each implant dentist in Seapoint has demonstrated their commitment to the field by undergoing training in this prestigious facility. Occurring over 2 years, the training involves 10 trips to the USA, meaning a serious financial and time investment is made by our dentists to ensure they are the absolute best in their fields. Established in 2007, Seapoint Clinic has catered for the ever-increasing demand for implant dentistry in Ireland and further afield. Created in order to provide a professional team for dental implants all under the one roof, Seapoint has shaped the way the dental world looks at implant dentistry. Originally, the vast majority of implants took place in various dental practices. This meant there was an uncertainty as to how much the procedure would cost and the additional difficulties of moving between practices. If a problem occurred, many people weren't sure where to turn to - the practice where the implant was placed or where the crown was fitted.

At a time when dental implant technology was vastly evolving, Seapoint Clinic decided to lead from the front, investing in what would be the first clinic to operate its own CT scanner outside of a hospital. By doing so, fewer complications and accurate pricing are just some of the perks that patients can benefit from.

Another unique idea pioneered by Seapoint was to have a full laboratory on site. This meant patients would no longer have teeth taken out and be left a few days without them, as we offered immediate teeth replacement. This meant our 'Teeth in a Day' procedure, in which implants could be placed and teeth fixed, could now be made in a single visit. This treatment is most popular with those who need teeth for a particular event or who cannot tolerate wearing dentures. We were able to further revolutionise the lives of many people in Ireland by introducing Click-tite dentures, which meant loose dentures could now be replaced with a more secure denture.

We've been able share our knowledge with the dental world by providing training and seminars for international companies. However, the unique blend of experience, technology, quality and customer service we offer on a daily basis is something that cannot be imitated. Our team are constantly retraining themselves on the latest techniques to provide and ever improving service to both patients and the dental industry itself.
