Invisalign Braces
Now more so than ever before, people are choosing Invisalign in order to straighten their teeth. By using clear, removable and most importantly, comfortable aligners, you can get perfectly straight teeth without anyone noticing! Invisalign uses a series of computer generated aligners which are custom made to fit your mouth. Throughout treatment, you will change aligners every couple of weeks, gradually and gently moving your teeth into the correct position. You can also take off your aligners throughout treatment, allowing you to brush your teeth and eat in comfort.
What Makes Invisalign So Different?
The benefits of Invisalign treatment is that they are so discreet they can fit into just about any lifestyle. Unlike traditional braces, there are no metal brackets and are practically unnoticeable. By being able to take them out during the course of your treatment, you can maintain a regular oral health routine, as it won't affect your current one. You can even take them off for social events such as weddings, but as they are so discreet you won't have to!
The treatment is discreet and fits into any lifestyle. It is a straightforward way to a straighter smile. Compared to traditional braces, there are no metal brackets and they’re almost invisible to the eye. They are also removable, which means that you can eat in comfort by taking them out. By being removable, it also allows you to keep a regular and healthy oral care routine as well.
"I thought I was going to feel self-conscious with braces on, but I have to say they were so discrete and I’m just delighted. It’s the best decision I’ve made, I feel much more confident."

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is the latest way to straighten your teeth, without people even knowing you are having treatment. A series of clear aligners are custom-made to fit your mouth, gently moving them over time. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, before being replaced by a newer set. This is repeated until your teeth are in their correct and final position. Treatment time does vary and will depend entirely on your specific requirements.
Can adults get Invisalign?
Of course. Thanks to advancements in modern dental technology, there are almost no age limits to what treatment you can get done. Now more so than ever before, people are realising just how important it is to take care of their oral health.
Is adult treatment uncomfortable?
Like any treatment, there will be a short adjustment period. However, once treatment begins, it is quite comfortable. It takes just a few short days for your mouth to adjust to your braces, but over time you will hardly notice them. Because Invisalign treatment uses a minimal amount of force to position your teeth, it is normal for your teeth to feel somewhat loose. However, this is perfectly normal as the ligaments which hold your teeth in place are stretched.
Will my braces stain over time?
Because Invisalign braces are removable, you can take them off before you eat, meaning they won't stain and can easily be cleaned.
How long does treatment normally take?
This will depend on the severity of your case and can only be determined by your dentist. On average, a case can typically take 12 months. However, the length of treatment for a teenage patient can vary greatly.
How often should I wear my aligners?
We recommend you wear your retainers for at least 22 hours per day and only be removed for brushing, eating and cleaning.
What if my aligners slip off when I'm sleeping?
It's practically impossible for your aligners to slip off, whether you were sleeping, talking or laughing. Invisalign aligners are specifically designed to fit the unique shape of your teeth, meaning there is no need for concern.
