Your dental health plays an important role in your overall wellness, so why not make 2021 the year for improving your health! Your dental health resolution can range from improving your toothbrushing habits, conquering your fear of the dentist and opting for long put-off dental treatments. Whatever your resolution may be, consistency is key. 

By following a few simple steps, you can easily maintain excellent oral health throughout the year.

  • Brush your teeth twice a day. Properly brushing your teeth helps remove any buildup of plaque from the surface before it hardens and becomes tartar.
  • Use a fluoride toothpaste. Fluoride can help prevent decay.
  • Change your toothbrush every 3 months.
  • Floss your teeth every day. Flossing is the only way to remove plaque from in between your teeth that regular brushing alone won't reach.
  • Use a mouth rinse, this provides extra help in controlling plaque.
  • Eat a healthy diet. Healthy eating helps maintain good dental health.
  • Visit your dentist for regular check ups. Routine dental cleanings and examinations are the best way to ensure that your teeth and gums stay healthy.
